Dumb, Dumber and Dumbest(Behavior,that is)

Great article in Wednesday’s Raleigh News and Observer that is such a fabulous illustration of the title. I will just kinda tell the story and allow you th choose which of  the three people in question fits which word. Note, more than one individual can fit in a category.

Ford Expedition stops at Raleigh Enloe High School on Tuesday to drop off a student, a freshman at the school. Normal so far. The abnormal part is that the vehicle was being pursued by police (not for gas guzzling) but because it was being driven by an 11-year-old.

Seems that the lawful owner of said vehicle had left it running early that morning while he ran into a convenience store. When he came out, said truck was gone. Almost serves him right. Consumer tip, don;t ever leave your vehicle running and unattended at the same time. If  you must warm it up ahead of time, have remote start installed. You’re welcome.

The plot thickens. Raleigh’s finest had been following the truck for  a mile or so before it turned into the school. The passenger, apparently late for class, raced into school and hid in the cafeteria. The  younger than  legal driver was  caught after trying to run into the woods. What is  a bit amusing is that, so far, no one has been charged with stealing the vehicle; merely possession of  a stolen vehicle. Maybe the truck stole itself. You know how sneaky those suv’s can be.

The investigation continues.
