Let's Play Destroy a Republican (Woman )

We have all probably heard by now of John McCain’s pick of Alaska governor Sarah Palin as his running mate . There has been much talk about her qualifications , lack of experience etc , To a degree , this is all well and good and prt of the political process . However, as time goes on the attacks on Ms. Palin seem to be getting more viciuos and more personal in nature .  Interestingly , some of the worst attacks seem to be coming from female journalists . Sally Quinn has beem particularly bad in my opinion . Some of her comments talk about how she doesnt see how Ms Palin can not make her family priority one , especially with five children, one a special needs child and with a grandchild on the way . And being an evangelical she is supposed to be subservient to her husband  and by the way, Southern Baptists dont allow women to be pastors . She is of course an expert on al these topics I assume although all she says is that she has been a working mother for 26 years ; seems to be a humongous double standard at work here . Wonder if Ms Palin were a liberal Democrat would the attacks be coming so fast and furious ? Could it be the liberal media is afraid ?  And some guy named Mark Shields said that Ms Palin let her ambition get in her way and she should have turned McCain down anyway . Time will tell how all this plays out but I applaud Ms Palin for hanging in there and I wish her well ; as a wife , mom and hopefully vice-president of the United States .
